Our standards

Three principles behind every calculator

We design each tool around transparency, privacy, and clear organization.

Open formulas

Every calculation is visible

Each calculator lists its inputs, baseline figures, and formulas, so you can see how a result was reached rather than trusting a black box.

Privacy by default

Your figures stay with you

Tools run without logins, accounts, or personal data collection. The numbers you enter are used only to produce your estimate.

Practical categories

Organized around the move

Calculators are grouped into six areas, from apartment and housing costs to planning, so you can find the right tool one step at a time.

How figures are set

Rates, dimensions, and averages

Baseline figures such as typical rental rates, standard supply dimensions, and common moving averages are compiled from publicly available reference information. Each calculator states the baseline it uses, so you can replace it with your own quote or local figure at any time.

We review these baselines periodically and update them when the underlying references change. Results are estimates produced from the inputs you provide. They are not certified quotes, and they do not guarantee any cost or outcome. For details on how estimates should be used, see our Disclaimer.
